“If Ye Be Willing and Obedient”…
Isaiah 1:19
It is a great shock for many people to learn that God most likely has not decided our daily life, the person
hemselves has decided it – people say “God is in control” but frankly there is an amazing amount about our lives that God is NOT in control of. It’s us that decide our daily life through our routines and the decisions we make. Therefore it’s also up to us to ensure that our routines and those decisions (especially important/directional ones – where I go to church, where I work, who are my friends, how much time I spend in prayer etc) actually are in agreement with what God wants for us. This is where so many people “wander” through life, never really knowing…which is very sad as we need to be highly productive and very focused on what we do with our time.
2 Corinthians 5:10 Amplified – this is a very scary verse for so many people and I urge you (regarding this verse I am happy to plead and beg you) not to ignore it:
“For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive his pay according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with and given himself and his attention to accomplishing”.
The Bottom Line: We will ALL have to face 2 Corinthians 5:10 - it’s coming – so please, you need to deal with it now so it doesn’t embarrass you later!
